SUMMARY:Infoveranstaltung Masterlehrgang „Legal Communication and Translation“
DESCRIPTION:Mit dem Sommersemester 2025 startet am Postgraduate Center der Universität Wien der 4-semestrige\, transdisziplinäre Masterlehrgang „Legal Communication and Translation“ (https://www.postgraduatecenter.at/weiterbildungsprogramme/recht/legal-communication-and-translation/). \nDer Masterlehrgang „Legal Communication and Translation“ wird in Kooperation mit der Notariatskammer und mit Unterstützung des Handelsgerichts Wien durchgeführt. Mit dem praxisorientierten und berufsbegleitenden Programm\, das dem Fach Translationswissenschaft zugeordnet ist\, wenden wir uns an Jurist*innen (Notar:innen\, Richter:innen\, Anwält:innen\, Wirtschafttreuhänder:innen)\, die eine Zusatzqualifikation in fachrelevanter Kommunikation\, Übersetzen und Dolmetschen für Englisch anstreben.\nÜber vier Semester werden in englischer Sprache translations- und rechtswissenschaftliche Kenntnisse\, kultur-\, sprach- und fachspezifische Kommunikations-\, Präsentations- und Verhandlungstechniken sowie Dolmetsch- und Übersetzungskompetenzen im Sprachenpaar Deutsch-Englisch unter Berücksichtigung modernster Technologien vermittelt. Abschließend sind Masterarbeitsseminar\, Masterthesis und Masterprüfung zu absolvieren (das Curriculum finden Sie im Anhang). \nBerufsbegleitende Absolvierung: Jedes Semester wird in den Räumlichkeiten der Universität Wien\, des Handelsgerichts Wien oder der Notariatsakademie eine Unterrichtswoche in Präsenz angeboten\, anschließend findet der Unterricht 14-tägig statt – einmal im Monat in Präsenz und einmal digital. \nZum Masterlehrgang wird es in den kommenden Monaten einige Informationsabende online über Zoom geben\, zu denen wir herzlich einladen: \n\nMontag\, den 25.11.2024 um 18:30 Uhr.
